Personal Hygiene & Health Education

JOBI's main objective is to provide opportunities and programs that will enhance the development and personal welfare (health) of our youths.    The JOBI centres and schools are first and foremost youth centres, in the right sense of the word.   JOBI seeks to develop and care for our youths through such HEALTH related activities and programs as: youth counseling, crisis counseling, youth/community health education, personal/community health seminars,  HIV/Aids awareness and prevention seminars,  diseases (malaria, typoid, cholera, etc) awareness and prevention seminars, family planning and birth control education/seminars, marriage/family care, terminal care for the sick, nursing education, food and nutrition education/seminars, and youth & physical education/recreation, all in the context of a rigorous discipleship program. 

Community Health

JOBI Health Centers and Nursing Homes

JOBI seeks to work with church, local and international donor organizations to find practical solutions and assistance for the sick and terminally ill or elderly in the community and help promote community health through its medical and nursing assitance program.  We are looking for resources to launch a JOBI Health Center and Nursing Home at Kingandole/Bumala in Busia, and at Matisi in Kitale, hopefully by April, 2009.
