Introduction

Jumaogeke Bible Institute (JOBI) is a faith-based, inter-denominational and evangelical teaching ministry, based on the founder’s call, vision and ministry burden.   JOBI's purpose is to: design, develop, teach and promote a missions related Christian education curriculum, with a focus on spiritual formation, leadership training, youth development and vocational/career training.   JOBI has two closely related divisions: the Christian college (the youth and career division) and the Bible institute (the Bible-theology, leadership training and ministries division).

Our Goals

1. To educate God’s people through sound Bible education.  This is our educational/cultural mandate.

2. To equip the saints for the work of ministry and for leadership. This is our ecclesiastical/missiological mandate.

3. To embrace our community with God’s love - -to use spiritual bases and resources and any other to promote the total development of the whole person (body, soul and spirit).  This is our social/communal mandate.

4. To edify the body of Christ - - to build up the church, promote maturity in the church and establish her in sound doctrine (Eph. 4:11-15, Col. 1:27-29, 2 Tim. 3:14-17).  This is our pastoral mandate.

5. To evangelize the unsaved at home and abroad.  This is our evangelistic/missiological mandate

6. To engage the world (of the unregenerate humanity that presents the challenge of competing worldviews and truth claims to Biblical Christianity) in a gospel dialogue.  This is our apologetic mandate
